conversations about homelessness would be a lot less time consuming if people agreed that homeless ppl deserve housing no matter what and not just when they’re upstanding citizens ……. a lot of housed people you know are already doing the things you think homeless people should lose potential housing for……. including you probably!

i learned that in Classical Athens, the citizens could vote each year to banish any person who was growing too powerful, as a threat to democracy. This process was called Ostracism (x)
